This is an additional verse  for “Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending”, lyrics by John Cennick, the music “Regent Square” by Henry Thomas Smart.  I wanted a verse for our study of Revelation 12.  Some consider  Rev 12:11 the key theme of the entire book:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Lo, Christ comes with trumpet blaring

Here is now the Kingdom of God

Saints, His Word are now declaring

Overcoming by His blood

Ours the vict’ry,  ours the vic’try

Ours the vict’ry Christ has won!
