(Now renamed from “Let the Fire Spread”. See explanation at the end.)
Let the fire spread, let the fire spread,
Let the fire spread from this city
Let it be said, let it be said,
Let it be said of this city:
“The Lord is There”,
“The Lord is There”
“The Lord is There” in His glory!
“The Lord is There”,
“The Lord is There”
“The Lord is There” in His glory!
v1
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till His fire consumes all the darkness
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till His Righteousness goes forth as brightness.
v2
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till all kings bow humbly before Him
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till all nations come to adore Him!
v3
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till His saints arise to their mission
To the praise of His glory, let us not hold our peace
Till His Bride is burning with passion!
Last few choruses: The LORD is here!

Based on Isaiah 62:1-7; Ephesians 1:12; and Ezekiel 48:35
“hold our peace” means to be quiet. Let us NOT be quiet at this time but proclaim the LORD’s kingdom.

EXPLANATION:
“The LORD Will Revive Houston” Meeting on 7-12-2019
Do you remember Doug Stringer’s “Prayer Mountain” which was praying for revival in Houston? Many saints were there! That’s was when I first met Doug Stringer, a mighty man of God. This event was about the holy “fire” coming here and then spreading from Houston. I composed a song “Let the Fire Spread”, soon after or around the time of that 40-day event. (May 6, 1997)
This was twenty-two years ago, the number of “Light”. “Let the Fire Spread” proclaims the covenant name of the LORD, Yahweh Shammah meaning “The LORD is there.” Now, I have renamed this song: “The LORD is There”!
Thursday night, 7-11-2019, this prayer meeting at City Hall in Houston came up on Facebook. (Thank you to Pastor Faluade and Stephanie Vigers for this.) This was a meeting I knew in the Spirit I was to attend, though I have not been doing much outside my church lately. Doug Stringer would be there and also other pastors I knew. Thank God for my husband David who took me to the event on short notice!
The day of the meeting was Friday 7-12-2019. Twelve is the number for “governmental perfection” so it was a spiritually appropriate day to have this meeting. Before I went to the meeting, I was playing the piano and worshiping the Lord. The Holy Spirit led me to this little tattered and worn old song “Let the Fire Spread” that I haven’t sung for ages! This song is based on Ezekiel 48:35. I felt led to proclaim this at that City Hall meeting that evening:
“and the name of the city from that day on will be: “The LORD is there” or “Yahweh-Shammah”.
Well, I didn’t know that the proclamation that Evangelist Gideon Eboh (The Voice of His Coming Ministry), whom I first met at this event, had written a declaration that included these very same words. This gives confirmation to both writers that this was from the LORD. Ministry leaders came up and we in one accord declared on Houston’s City Hall steps that the name of this city is “The LORD is There!” HalleluYAH! Glory be to God!
Many have all been praying for revival in this city for years and years. I just last week asked my pastor if it will ever be done. It was as if this was an answer.
Many of us came together for “Prayer Mountain” in 1997. That was the year when Promise Keepers came to the Astrodome and the Jesus March was also in town, the same weekend! I was an intercessor at both events, and another one also. (Interesting story, about that other one!) That was the year the Russians arrived for a conference at the Bread of Life. (Now New Life Chrurch. Pastor Mary Kemp was also at this event last night!)
Many of us had prayers for revival. At my old church, Calvary Community Church, we were always praying for revival. This will be a sovereign act of God.. just like the move that realized Trump in the White House! The Amish, who generally don’t vote, voted in that election! God is not paralyzed by the liberal “left” that promotes abortion and unseemly immoral acts. In the middle of our “darkness … and thick darkness”, it is time for the LIGHT of Jesus Christ arise and shine!
“And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:3
(This was prophesied over me by Calvary’s Pastor Steve Meeks years ago on January 6, 1993!)
Amen! Amen! Amen!
