How I love this place! 

I sit and write from my porch in the shade

As the almost constant breeze billows in

How I love this place! 

The birds chirping

The wildflowers abundant

The butterflies gliding about

The heavenly Hill Country sight

And the lake beyond, if I climb to the swing for a view.

How I love this place! 

From my home on a hill, I may reflect on spiritual things

How the LORD has ordained me to be 

Called, justified, and glorified*

And has even chosen me, among many others, 

To be His holy, set-apart Bride!**
